Details: Onsite - Bethesda, MD 80-90k/yr COVID Vax required Day to Day: Setting up and Maintaining the G/L accounts, including Project codes and Department codes Maintaining Posting Groups Reviewing Bank reconciliations Calculation of monthly fringe and fringe reclass Monthly Payroll Accruals Preparing and completing Payroll tax returns Maintaining 1099 records and seeing 1099s are filled timely Sending ACH files and POSPAY files to the bank using the bank’s website Running inventory received reports to verify costing Reviewing Inventory Flow in ERP system. Validating Daily Reports Preparing and Entering Journal Entries into Accounting Software Support accounting staff and/or departmental backup as needed: Processing of commissions Payroll Performs other duties and projects as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to adapt to new accounting programs and procedures with minimal supervision. Ability to reconcile data in order to maintain accurate records. Ability to prioritize workflow and meet deadlines. Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Powered by JazzHR
