Job Responsibilities •The Surgical / Operating Room Tech II, under the direct supervision of a registered professional nurse, provides direct and indirect perioperative patient care for patients requiring surgical intervention, in a minimum of three OR specialty areas (Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Cardio/Thoracic) one of which must be Neuro or Cardio, with cases/patients of high acuity. •The Surgical / Operating Room Tech II assumes call rotation responsibility for all procedures excluding those considered within the scope of the open heart team call responsibilities, unless trained in the cardio/thoracic specialty.SHIFT: Full time days - No Weekends Education: Completion of a Surgical Technician Certificate program REQUIREDLicense/Certifications: BLS certificationCST Certification Experience Minimum one year OR experience in a scrub roleRequires successful completion of an operating room technician course. MUST have CURRENT ACUTE care experienceSalary: Start $18.37 - $23.78 ( Mid Point 10yrs) - $28.48 ( Max 20yrs) Shift Differentials: 2nd/3rd shift $ 1.25 - Weekends 1.00 - Call: 2.25Sign on bonus: $7500.00 Relocation: - Case by Case ( Will need HR approval)Powered by JazzHR
