Position Type : Full-Time Position Title : Surgical Technician Location : Aurora, CO About the Facility :This renowned 346-bed acute care hospital is the first in the Denver Metro area to receive a three-time Magnet designation for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The center comprises multiple campuses, including a Main Campus, Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, Medical Plaza, ER, Rehabilitation Hospital, and more. The Main Campus is a Level II Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation. It is affiliated with a prominent children's hospital and a leading cancer institute. Position Overview :The Surgical Technician III will assist during surgical procedures, ensuring the necessary equipment and sterile supplies are set up. The technician is experienced in aseptic technique and is knowledgeable about instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs for various surgical procedures. The role involves setting up equipment, pulling and breaking down cases, and may also include orienting new employees. The technician will be on call as scheduled. Qualifications : Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). Registration as a Surgical Tech by Colorado Division of Registration (DORA). Preferred: Current CST Certification from NBSTSA. Graduate of an accredited program for Operating Room Technician. At least one year of experience as a Surgery Technician. Shift Details : Full-time evenings (9a-9p or 11a-9p). On-call position available (7pm Friday to 7am Monday) with guaranteed pay for 40 hours. Options for Weekends Only or Weekdays Only & No Weekends. Compensation : Hourly Wage: $26.00 - $39.01/hour On-Call: $4/hour Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
