Ladgov Corporation is looking to hire a Janitor at National Weather Service (NWS)Greenville-Spartanburg Weather Forecast Office 1549 GSP Drive Greer, SC 29651.Schedule: to be determined by the program manager. Requirements: Ability to read, write and speak English. Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning, and other janitorial work. Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies. High school diploma. Equipment, preferably - but not required: all necessary cleaning equipment, including power-driven floor scrubbers, waxing and polishing machines, industrial-type vacuum cleaners, motor trucks, water extractors, etc. Duties: Sweep all floor areas including wet mopping with appropriate cleaning products specific to the cleaning materials provided. WET FLOOR SIGNS MUST BE POSTED! Vacuum all rugs and carpets, runners, and carpet protectors to ensure that they are free from dust, dirt, mud, etc. When completed, the area shall be free of all litter, lint, loose soil and debris. Any moveable items shall be moved to vacuum underneath, and then replaced in the original position. Thorough cleaning and sanitation of toilets, urinals, bathroom showers and shower, vanities and any other bathroom fixtures using suitable non- abrasive cleaners and disinfectants. All surfaces shall be free of grime, soap scum, mold, and smudges. Spot cleaning restroom walls, breakrooms and dumping trash from mentioned areas.
