Description:

We are looking for a proactive, efficient church facilities coordinator who possesses an understanding of proper cleaning methods and a respect for the religious and cultural beliefs of others. The church facilities will ensure that all publicly accessible areas of the church are clean and ready for other staff members and the congregation to use. You may also maintain supply inventory, submit purchase requests, and assist with preparations for events, such as weddings or funerals. To be a successful church facilities coordinator, you should be observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing church members, visitors, and staff with a clean, orderly place to worship and congregate. You should also be knowledgeable about proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques and have the ability to make basic repairs, including plumbing and electrical work. Facilities Coordinator Overview: The Facilities Coordinator will also be responsible for managing multiple locations. Duties & Responsibilities: • All related duties maintaining many facilities including contact with vendors to service facilities. • Maintaining all facility equipment. • Other duties as assigned. • This Job Description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position. • Management may, at its discretion, assign, or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Education: • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Experience: • Two (2) years experience in facility maintenance • Valid driver's license Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Good written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail • Multi-tasking • Basic computer skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs • Ability to enter data and run reports EEO Powered by JazzHR
