New Job Opportunity - Senior Network Security Engineer: New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Washington, DC. Looking to hire an experienced Sr. Network Security Engineer with at least 8 years of prior related professional experience (High level Network Security Engineer / Cybersecurity support experience). We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks. Logistics of the Role: Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire On Site Day to Day Activities: Configuration, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco Collaboration solutions. Researches, evaluates and recommends the selection of network-related tools and emerging technologies for clients. Interfacing with end-users for the purpose of designing and implementing network solutions and design recommendations. Manage & maintain the network security including firewalls for the organization Manage and maintain the incident response and risk assessment Work with the manager to play a critical role in all of the IT Security projects throughout the organization Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field At least 8 years of experience working as a senior network engineer or related role (High level Cybersecurity, Network Engineer, and support roles). IT Company Experience Must have experience with Cisco, VMware, and IPS Products Network Troubleshooting Experience Must have experience with managing VPN Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Powered by JazzHR
