GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for managing and improving the quality of products and services provided by suppliers to our organization. The SQE works closely with suppliers to establish quality standards, conducts regular audits, monitors supplier performance, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction. May be required to generate compliance documents such as Procurement Specifications to ensure the supplier understands and complies with the outgoing quality requirements. Must be familiar with the New Product Introduction (NPI) Phase Gate process and be prepared to actively participate in supporting the transition of products from design, through test and into the production phase within the supply chain. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supplier backssment, Qualification and Selection: Evaluate potential suppliers based on their quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and quality performance. Collaborate with the procurement team to select suppliers that meet quality standards and requirements.
