Based in Hamilton, the Project Manager, Civil Engineering will report to the Engineering Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on management of civil engineering projects and preparation and review of technical deliverables for clients. You will be part of a team that offers services and expertise to private and government sector clients throughout the Hamilton, Halton, and Niagara regions and beyond. What You’ll Do: The Project Manager, Civil Engineering, will be part of the Engineering team at A. J. Clarke and Associates. You will: Function as Project Manager in all aspects of municipal and land development project delivery including bidding and proposal preparation, project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning and execution, billing and collections, and project budget management Manage engineering and design staff in project execution, while providing mentorship and direction to your team Complete detailed design calculations for servicing and grading plans including: sewer sizing, road profile design, lot and site grading, stormwater calculations for attenuation and conveyance, layout of the SWM facilities, cut/fill analysis from existing to proposed surfaces, watermain sizing calculations, fire-flow backssments, and wastewater-water generation backssments Complete, check, and review technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, engineering calculations, and permit applications Review project design basis.
