JOB SUMMARY Reporting directly to the President, the Senior Accountant will be in charge of all financial services and accounting operations for the organization's various business lines. This person develops and implements financial systems and procedures, sets performance standards, and prepares various financial reports for senior management. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE : Ensure the planning, organization, control, and follow-up of day-to-day activities relating to the finance department; Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, summary statements, and other profitability analysis and financial management reports; Coordinate and monitor the financial planning and budgeting process; Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and procedures; Perform and monitor the monthly closing process; Review accounts receivable sub-ledger to minimize obsolescence; Develop and implement financial simulation models; Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting practices, and investment initiatives and suggest areas for improvement; Analyze.
