We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Clinical Manager in San Antonio, TX. Join our team and help shape the future of healthcare. Responsibilities 🔹 Optimize Medication Use: Monitor and improve drug therapy regimens to ensure patient safety and effectiveness. 🔹 Clinical Consultation: Provide guidance to healthcare practitioners and suggest cost-effective alternatives. 🔹 Formulary Management: Maintain our hospital's formulary and promote rational drug therapy. 🔹 Quality Assurance: Oversee medication safety, analyze adverse drug reactions, and mentor colleagues. 🔹 Program Development: Develop and manage pharmacy clinical programs to enhance patient care. 🔹 Team Leadership: Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff. 🔹 Committee Participation: Collaborate with medical and nursing staff on various committees. Qualifications 📜 Bachelor's degree or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required (Doctor of Pharmacy preferred). 📜 Minimum of 1 year as a Pharmacy Clinical/Operations Specialist. 📜 At least 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience; management experience preferred. 📜 Specialty BCPS certification, ACLS, or other relevant certifications preferred. 📜 Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy. 📜 Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Meditech, and purchasing vendor applications.
