We are seeking a Materials Engineering Student for our Melloy Industrial Services Inc. district, in our Nisku, AB office that is available for 4 months starting in May 2024. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Quality Manager. Here's how a(n) Materials Engineering Student for our Edmonton Melloy office contributes to our team: Responsibilities Using and maintaining PCL and External client systems to help manage the project. Effectively storing documentation and understanding data management for retention, project information/turnover, etc. Maintaining inventory levels on commonly ordered material and supplies. Expediting orders. Performing administrative and/or physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of inventory. Practice PCL safety practices. Adhoc duties as required. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an Engineering specialization in a post-secondary institution. Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Maintains a positive working relationship with clients. Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
