You will be involved in designing and supporting our innovative engineering patented products and technology. Position: Junior Design Engineer Location: Alcester, West Midlands Salary: £30,000 - £35,000We have an exciting Junior Design Engineer opportunity to join our engineering team in the West Midlands. You will be involved in designing and supporting our innovative engineering patented products and technology. Our team consist of experienced engineers who are passionate about successfully developing and innovating this technology. Each team member has a ‘hands on’ approach and supports each other for the benefit of our products and customers. Responsibilities: Providing design assistance for components and assemblies in the 3D CAD environment through solid and surface modelling. Support the creation of drawings and specifications to relevant standards against the project plan. Understand PLM system for data control and release. Support design team members with peer reviews. Support administration of prototype and production builds through design reviews, system arrangement drawings and sub system BOMs, onsite support to manufacturing and test. Support the team to liaise with and support purchasing and suppliers. Involvement in problem solving using a structured approach. Support the administration of investigation of new products and technologies and to support existing product improvements. Experience & Requirements: BEng or equivalent in Mechanical engineering other similar degrees will be considered with at least a couple of years in a product design or development role. Prior design experience of mechanical parts and systems including powertrain, drivetrain & hydraulics would be preferred. CAD system and Microsoft Office software experience...
