The Role: As the Regional Housing Lead at CLBC, you serve as the point of contact within the region for the delivery of staffed housing and housing-related services. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing a portfolio of staffed housing resources that are operated by CLBC-funded service providers to provide a stable, safe environment for individuals. You will play an integral project management role to ensure housing projects are planned and delivered on time, on budget and in a manner that is responsive to individuals requiring housing and their families. Furthermore, you will consult with regional service delivery team members and will advise on a wide range of complex housing situations by providing an expert perspective to identify opportunities or efficiencies, resolve problems/issues, and explore options for changes in practice and operations. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and managing cost effective and timely development of staffed homes (outside of BC Housing). Guides and advises regional staff on housing processes and options Responsible for advising Analysts, Integrated Services Managers, and Regional Directors on housing-related matters Identifying key issues for the Manager, Services & Community Development (Housing) on a project-by-project basis including but not exclusive to budget, time constraints, and.
