In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for maintaining stable operations, resolving user issues, and actively contributing to various projects. The primary focus will be on the highly critical Cash Management Platform, FIS Payment Hub, used across more than 20 entities worldwide. Venquis have a rare opportunity for an Application Support Engineer to join our client, a global leader in insurance and digital solutions on a full time, permanent basis. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for maintaining stable operations, resolving user issues, and actively contributing to various projects. The primary focus will be on the highly critical Cash Management Platform, FIS Payment Hub, used across more than 20 entities worldwide. Job profile: Ensure the consistent and secure functioning of various applications within your portfolio by implementing minor enhancements. Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot customer issues, proposing effective solutions. Work closely with the operations team, external software providers, and users to enhance application performance. Adhere to established procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the relevant internal teams. Contribute to transition projects and the overall advancement of service. Develop and update procedures for existing processes, and document knowledge management, compliance regulations, and vulnerability remediation efforts. Personal Profile: Hold a degree in computer science or a related field. Bring several years of hands-on experience in IT software support. Possess or be ready to pursue ITIL certification. Showcase strong planning and organisational skills. Fluent in both English and German. Familiarity with cash management processes; prior knowledge of FIS Payment Hub is advantageous.
