The Position: Director US Deposits, Core Banking Engineering The Role: Leads and oversees US Core Baking Engineering ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This role manages 3 direct reports and about 5-15 concurrent projects (annual project combined costs ranging from 1MM to 50MM) What will you do? Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Contribute to the overall success of the organization ensuring specific goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in alignment with the business strategies and objectives. Lead the key functions of US Core Banking Engineering Identify and prioritize opportunities to leverage platform capabilities effectively, deliver future proof technology solutions and take a leading role in initiatives to drive innovation and digital transformation throughout the Bank. This will be achieved through defining a business/technology roadmap focused on core banking technologies, customer data/information, API integration, Analytics and Cloud environments. Define solution architecture, system and solution designs, and lead cross functional implementation of IT solutions to enable business value Lead the implementation of transformative technology initiatives to enable Payments and Core Banking Engineering’s success through increased efficiency, reduced cost, faster time to market Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
