Excellent opportunity for a professional and bilingual Junior Accountant to join an established and rapidly expanding organization. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience in the food and beverage industry. If you’re proactive and understand how to prioritize tasks based on urgency we are confident you will excel in this role. We are an ever-evolving and dynamic environment, the ideal candidate will be a quick and independent learner and adapt to change with ease. The Ideal Candidate Will be a discreet, curious, and thorough individual who takes great pride in their work. They will be flexible, proactive, and resourceful in their approach. He/She will be a team-player, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously. Schedule: Regular daily hours (8AM-5PM) however, he/she will need a flexible work schedule to meet demands. Salary range : $45K-$50K based on experience. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping Prepare bank entries Purchasing invoice entry Digital scanning and filing of documents Other administrative tasks as required Qualifications: Bilingual (French/English) - English is essential Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience Knowledge of financial and cost accounting Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software (Google Suite or Microsoft Office) Excellent math skills and attention to detail Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required Ability to interact with all levels of staff including management Ability to function independently with minimal supervision Critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines Able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
