If this appeals to your current career expectations then we would love to hear from you. We are searching for an experienced Underwriter to form a key part of Chubb's A&H Major Risks Team. The successful candidate will have responsibility for growth of the Portfolio with key Brokers and Clients, whilst maintaining and developing a portfolio of existing accounts. In this role you will be responsible for the underwriting and servicing personal accident and travel policies for large multinational clients and the production of new and existing facility policies. You will support our Accident & Health business by developing and handling the underwriting and relationship of a panel of accounts both existing and new to Chubb. Key activities include account management, referrals, portfolio management, product development, compliance and governance. Key responsibilities: Underwrite new business or renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines, specified budget and local business plan Represent and promote Chubb corporately to brokers, internal and external clients. This may involve servicing key producers and clients, monitoring business acquisition and retention as well as maximising cross-selling opportunities Assist in formulating underwriting strategy, forecasts and portfolio management in order to achieve underwriting profitability. To ensure quality control within defined area of responsibility by undertaking quantitative underwriting reviews and peer reviews Prioritise and develop products within area of specialist expertise in order to improve client retention and new business. .
