The role: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the District Manager will provide strategic operational oversight for Purolator’s Pickup & Delivery terminals in the Toronto District. Leading through clear vision and purpose, you will motivate a diverse management team, and a frontline employee base of 400+. In this role, you will oversee and infuse accountability as it relates to standards for safety, people, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. You will be a part of the business leadership team ensuring regional operational strategies and execution are aligned to meet the overall business strategy, people goals and will ensure cross-functional synergies. This role helps Purolator by #Making Canada Stronger every day. The District Manager will: Be a Safety & Sustainability champion : Lead and ensure terminals operate safely, in compliance with regulatory and internal safety, and environmental program standards and goals.
