Here are some key accountabilities of the role: This position is accountable for preparing journal entries, complex accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of TJX financial statements. This position informally supports junior associates and partners cross-functionally with various business partners on reporting and analysis. Prepares and consolidates financial statements and supporting schedules (i. e. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with a focus on accuracy and timeliness in support of areas such as Payroll, Fixed Assets, etc. Ensures all transactions are accounted for in accordance with GAAP and performs SOX Controls. Identifies and implements opportunities for operational improvement and efficiencies. Prepares monthly and quarterly review packages for Senior Management by compiling the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and other reporting as required. Develops financial forecasts, annual budgets, and supports the development of long-range plans through strong partnerships and input from various business areas; maintains cross-functional business partnerships to monitor expenses, investigate variances, and increase visibility by providing.
