Description:
LST is seeking an experience Systems Engineer to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center. The successful candidate will support the FAA in the development/test/validation for various systems. Responsibilities: Design new applications and system architectures for critical communication and information management systems. Provide assistance to the System Administrator in defining how to monitor hosted systems. Assist with designing and executing test activities. Analyze, plan and implement infrastructure hosted systems. Communicate, both in writing and in person, with team members, management and stakeholders, regarding approaches and issues. Attend and contribute in regular meetings or telecons with the Program Office. Write plans, procedures, defect statements, reports and associated documents as applicable. Requirements: Have knowledge, experience and skills with all aspects of system testing, including developing test documentation, plans, procedures and reports. Have knowledge and experience of Service Oriented Architecture ("SOA"). Work effectively with a team or individually on each assigned project to meet deadlines and deliverables. Have strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills while maintaining high levels of quality. Excel with troubleshooting, critical thinking, and the ability to interact with users of all levels of expertise. Have second level troubleshooting experience including fault isolation and system restoration. Travel as required. And you should have: A Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or 7 years in lieu of a degree. Have project management experience. Understand advanced test methodologies and test automation.
