Position: Country Kitchen Cook 2 Location: Callaway Gardens and Resort, Pine Mountain, GA Job Type: Full-time Connecting man and nature in a way that benefits both. We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Cook 2 to join our team at Callaway Gardens and take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. As a Kitchen Cook 2, you will be responsible for opening the kitchen and preparing meals as ordered by guests. You will ensure that all equipment safety and food safety standards are met, while monitoring food cost controls and food quality standards. Responsibilities: Open the kitchen and prepare meals as ordered by guests Ensure the day-to-day operations of the kitchen at Callaway Gardens are running smoothly Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and safe to use Monitor food cost controls and food quality standards Collaborate with the front-of-house staff at Callaway Gardens to ensure guests receive high-quality meals and service Adhere to all safety and health standards in the kitchen Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Qualifications: At least 1 years of experience as a Kitchen Cook 2 or similar role Strong knowledge of food safety standards and equipment safety Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Lift up to 50lbs If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for cooking and a commitment to food safety and quality, we encourage you to apply for this position at Callaway Gardens.
