Who You Are: The Ukraine Response Case Manager provides trauma-informed, culturally aware, and responsive services to Ukrainian families and individuals with Humanitarian Parole and have arrived in Oregon after February 24, 2022. What You Will Work On: Conduct intake services with clients to assess needs. Maintain an active caseload of approx. 20-30 cases, which could include non-Ukraine client cases as assigned by supervisor. Coordinate timely services to ensure each client has living essentials such as food, medical care, and access to transportation, and is oriented to their new environment. Partner with client/family and their sponsor on maintaining stable housing; provide information and referrals to housing support as necessary. What You Bring: Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Program) or equivalent lived and or worked experience. Experience Requirements/Preferences Minimum 6 months prior experience working with or providing case management services and supports to refugees and immigrants preferred. Experience with Ukrainian refugees and immigrants strongly preferred, including deep knowledge of customs, languages, religious sect, and cultural differences unique to this population. Multi-cultural/multi-lingual experience required; work specifically with refugee populations and interpreters strongly preferred, particularly Ukraine Humanitarian Parolees. Ability to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing in English required; in Ukrainian preferred. VACCINATION POLICY Catholic Charities of Oregon requires all employees to confirm they are fully vaccinated, or in the process of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. COVID-19 testing in lieu of being vaccinated or having an approved medical or religious exception is not an option.
