Finance/Administration Intern The Finance/Administration Intern is responsible for the financial accounting information for the Gateway Center by supporting the Director of Finance in completing the daily tasks required. This position requires "attention to detail" and flexibility. The Finance/Administration Intern reports to the Director of Finance. General Responsibilities General Ledger (Record Square daily activity, Concentric invoice activity) Accounts Payable (backup to the Administrative Assistant for Creating Purchase Orders and Invoice processing) Accounts Receivable (Invoice Customers & Preferred Caters as events occur, Review & process payments for deposit, manage Aged Receivables) Petty Cash Reconciliation. Assists in reviewing Gateway's monthly financial statements and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance Requirements Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures; ability to tactfully deal with staff, clients, and the general public. Technical skills: Knowledge and operation of computers, Excel required. Enrolled as a senior working towards a degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or accounting experience in a responsible position. Other equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Rate of Pay This position is $16.00 per hour. There are no benefits associated with this position.
