Description:
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICIAN (Internally known as Technician I) As a Technician, you provide emergency restoration and disaster recovery services to clients. You are hands-on with water, fire, mold remediation, biohazard, demo, and construction projects, providing the know-how and muscle to not only get things done but done right. Whether you are loading or unloading materials/tools, setting up equipment for drying structures, doing vehicle maintenance, or cleaning and preparing job sites, the team knows you are someone they can count on. You are trusted to oversee labor sub-contractors, complete crew sheets for work performed, and maintain a safe environment in the absence of a Lead Technician. You don't hesitate to help the team wherever and whenever you're needed as you are willing to travel and are available for emergency/after-hours/weekend calls. What you do every day makes a difference to our clients and provides a positive experience during their time of need, reaffirming that First Onsite is the only restoration partner they'll ever need. Technical Qualifications: Basic computer skills - MS, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (Emails) Basic ability to operate industry and/or vertical-specific tools and equipment Education and Experience: Restoration experience, preferred High school diploma or equivalent, preferred The hourly rate for this role is between $18 and $25 . Specific compensation will be based on the skills, experience, seniority, merit, location, education, training, and need for travel of the selected candidate.
