A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE II TECHNICIAN As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be expected to complete planned maintenance, breakdown repair, and condition monitoring activities of plant equipment. You will also be responsible for providing part and material details to support equipment operation, and perform scheduled lubrication on assigned assets. When needed, you may fabricate parts from scratch or prints and utilize blueprints, sketches and machine manuals for specifications and repair. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating all maintenance issues with maintenance leadership, as well as suggesting and implementing process improvements and system upgrades. Striving for a clean work area, you will participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance field. The combination of a formal training program and experience will be considered High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred Skilled in troubleshooting/repairing automated equipment including PLC, Servo motor, and VFD Must be able to understand and utilize blueprints and other technical publications Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems or assist others in solving equipment issues Possess knowledge in basic math in all units of measure, compute rate, ration, and percent Capability to fabricate parts from scratch or prints preferred Experience in reading and interpreting ladder logic/schematics is a plus. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas professionally and effectively MANUFACTURING WORK SCHEDULE This full-time is position is Monday through Friday on 2nd Shift, working 8-hour shifts.
