Work Hours: 1st Shift: 7am to 5:30pm Job Purpose: Setup, operate and produce finish-cut, printed products to match job ticket expectations and scheduling requirements. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Review job tickets, and produce printed products according to specifications. Checks first off runs to ensure that requirements are met and product matches proofs. Verifies quality as job is ran to insure no changes in quality. Maintains record of product produced, and manually records all necessary information per department procedures. Enters all appropriate information in Pace Software system. Moves finished materials to appropriate location when complete. Cleans up equipment and work area as needed. Performs appropriate maintenance on equipment as required. Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be fluent in measurements: able to read a tape measure, add and subtract, and work with fractions and decimals; High School diploma or GED; 1-year experience running a production machine with performance expectations is a minimum requirement. Digital and/or Wide Format printing experience is a plus. Zund cutter or router experience a plus. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail. Stand for full 8 + hour shift. Be available to work overtime and weekends as customer demands dictate. Organization skills. Basic computer skills. General safety awareness and compliance. Problem solving and decision-making skills. Self-motivated and ability to multitask. A positive "Yes, I will help you with that" attitude towards external and internal customers.
