As a Scheduler, you will contribute to our team by assisting in all schedule-related tasks including building, maintaining, updating, and distributing. Here's how a(n) Scheduler for our Edmonton Industrial Management office contributes to our team: Responsibilities Facilitate the planning and scheduling process through various construction phases (preconstruction, construction, system completions, etc. ); Retrieve, consolidate and analyze information from various sources; Conduct schedule analysis for constructability, risks and opportunities; Collaborate with field supervision on look ahead planning; Implement subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule; Lead interactive planning sessions; Manage schedule scope changes in alignment with contract requirements; Analyze schedule delays, impacts and variances to the baseline and generate solutions for scheduling conflicts; Communicate plans and schedules internally and externally through effective graphs and reports; and Apply leadership skills to support the site manager in project execution. Qualifications 5-8 years of experience in planning and scheduling with direct hire trades and subcontractors is required, although less experience may be considered for the right candidate; Initially stationed at the Edmonton office, the position will later involve relocation to one of our sites across Canada; Thorough understanding of planning and scheduling principles, best practices and techniques; Advanced knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel; Utilize information from construction drawings,.
