A Team Home Services is looking for a carpenter/handyman position to join our team based in and around Austin, Texas ! This tradesperson will be responsible for constructing wooden structures and fixtures as well as providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service. Responsibilities : Execute a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and installation, according to project specifications and blueprints Measure and mark materials with precision, ensuring accurate cuts and placements. Install doors, windows, cabinets, molding, and other wooden components securely and in a level and plumb manner. Diagnose and repair damaged or deteriorating wooden structures and components, including roofs, floors, and walls. Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked, as well as any necessary permits or inspections. Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools. Knowledge of construction and safety regulations. Strong mathematical and measurement skills. Attention to detail and precision in work. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license Heavy lifting of at least 55 lbs Provide 3 references Pay rate : $25-$35 hourly or earning up to $100,000 annually in bonus potential Benefits eligible after 90 day probationary period : Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Birthdays Sick Time A tid bit on us:We are a home service and remodeling company dedicated to providing the highest customer service.
