Looking to recruit an experienced Void Works Building Inspector to join a leading Property Maintenance company based in Westminster. Day rates; GBP250 : GBP450 General duties of the role: Carrying out safety inspections on void council properties. Visiting sites and viewing plans before and during void works are being carried out. Conducting thorough inspections of the property once the works are complete. Guaranteeing health and safety compliance and risk management. Staying up to date on industry regulations and standards. Working closely with contractors, planners and stakeholders. Supervising procurement processes and overseeing contractors. Reporting to the Senior Investment Manager. Maintaining a hybrid working pattern. Requirements of the role: Must be either MRICS OR MCIOB qualified. Certification in building inspection from a UK accredited body. Bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as Architecture. Expertise in modern building inspection software and tools and understanding of UK building regulations, codes and inspection standards. High quality organisational skills to manage multiple ongoing projects and properties. Must have strong capabilities in stakeholder management and communication. Ability to identify any defects, areas of non : compliance and risks whilst carrying out detailed inspections. If you are interested in the role, or would like any further details please apply below.
