The Senior Manager, Tax plays a critical role in providing expert tax advisory and compliance services to our clients, while also leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals. Your in-depth tax knowledge, exceptional leadership abilities, and dedication to client service will be vital to our firm's success and your career. Specific role responsibilities: Client Service · Provide expert tax advice and strategic planning to a portfolio of clients, addressing their specific tax needs and helping them achieve their financial goals. · Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, consulting, etc. · Research and prepare tax-planning strategies for our clients and take the lead on the preparation of complex tax returns. · Collaborate on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical manner to facilitate communication between the client and the service team while managing the risk for both the client and the firm. · Build relationships across lines of business within NVS to ensure excellent client service through an integrated service approach. Tax Compliance · Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. · Review research findings and ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards. · Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of tax-related work products and services. · Stay current with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends. Conduct research to analyze and interpret complex tax issues, providing innovative solutions to clients and training for team members. · Ensure that the firm and its clients are in compliance with all relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
