Sobeys Central Fill shop is looking to hire a shop assistant to join the dispensary team to help with blister packing using a VBM machine. Computer efficiency and positive attitude are imperative for this position. Experience preferred however, not required as we are willing to train the right individual. We are looking for someone who is confident with their skills and can learn quickly in a fast paced environment. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Using technology to automate blister card preparation Using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels Ordering supplies/drugs Maintaining and counting inventory Receiving, loading, unloading deliveries Answering questions by phone Preparing, pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines General cleaning and housekeeping Referring problems or queries to the pharmacist Additional duties when necessary What you have to offer: Undergraduate degree, shop Technology Certificate or other shop recognized program is preferred Experience with Sobeys National shop Group Computer systems, comfort level working with Kroll software is preferred Above average.
