JOB : Quality Inspector LOCATION : Aylesbury TERM: Permanent SALARY : GBP 25,000 : GBP 32,000 per annum (dependant on experience). We are looking for a Quality Technician / Inspector on a permanent basis in the Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire area with experience in the manufacturing sector. Your main duties will be assisting with the day: to: day activities of the Quality Engineering and Manufacturing / Production teams to check quality of products in and out of the business. The Quality Inspector / Technician will ideally have the following attributes: : 1 years' experience or more in a similar Quality Inspector position. : Familiar with any of the following tools and techniques (All not required) : Vernier Calipers : Micrometers : Depth Gauges / Height Gauges : Visual Inspection : Set Square / Protractor. : Able to communicate with Quality Engineering teams. : Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written : Have previous experience working in a similar mechanical or assembly manufacturer. : Excellent organizational and planning skills. : Capable of reading Engineering Drawings : Ability to work independently. The Quality Inspector / Technician role will involve: : Assisting the Quality Management team with Inspection and reporting duties. : Using various gauging and measurement instruments to ensure products are manufactured correctly. : Carry out inspection on supplies coming in to the business. : Maintain and upkeep the inspection documentation for the manufacturing department. : Take ownership of inspection activities throughout production.
