Job Description: We are working alongside a leading Asset Management firm seeking an experienced 1LOD Risk Analyst/Manager to assist in the implementation of all new business-related risk initiatives. The role will focus on all areas of risk management within the organisation. Essential Skills/Experience: A good working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word is essential. Excellent numerical skills. The role will focus on all areas of risk management within the organisation. Essential Skills/Experience: A good working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word is essential. Excellent numerical skills. Understanding of business communications, including style and format of letters, presentations, and reports. Understanding of office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems and record keeping. Competencies: A proven commitment to risk management. Integrity and ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive information. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, use initiative, problem solve and proceed without supervision. Attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels. Desirable Skills/Experience: Preferably a risk related qualification. If not already held the successful applicant will be required to obtain dedicated Risk Qualifications.2+ years relevant experience in financial services is desirable although not essential. Core Responsibilities: Oversee and undertake First Line risk backssments, monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment, and monitor and challenge.
