Regional parcel carrier is in need of a cargo van or large mini-van independent contractor for dedicated routes on Tuesday - Friday and back up work Monday and Saturday. The route (Tuesday - Friday) will run from approximately 04.30 to at the latest 12.30. The first hour will include breaking down the incoming freight and loading your van. The route will for the week will run about 980 miles and the total work hours will be 34 hours. The product being delivered is Auto Parts and Flowers and will entail making inside deliveries so you must be able to lift and carry these types of deliveries. The estimated pay for this route will be $50 a day in route pay plus 70% of the booked revenue on the account plus the fuel surcharge. The estimated weekly revenue is between $600-$650 which includes the fuel surcharge and doesnt include the extra revenue that can be made on Monday and Saturday. If you will have a mini van your fuel surcharge will be a bit less. In order to qualify you MUST have a 2003 or newer mini or cargo van. You may not have any more than two moving violations in the last three years, no more than one at fault accident, no DUIs ever and a clean criminal record. You must also have or be willing to get a Class E license if you live in the state of MO. We are looking to have this person start no later than Monday April 22 so please make sure you are available at that point in time.
