As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our premises. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a difference in a thriving organisation. Key Responsibilities: 1 Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds, to ensure they are safe, functional, and well: presented at all times. 2 Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, conducting regular inspections and risk backssments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. 3 Supplier Management: Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure cost: effective and high: quality services. 4 Budget Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality or service delivery. 5 Space Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and optimise the use of space within the facilities, ensuring efficient allocation and utilisation of resources. 6 Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, conducting regular drills and training exercises to ensure staff are prepared to respond effectively in the event of an emergency. 7 Environmental Sustainability: Promote and implement environmentally sustainable practices within the.
