Technical Sales Support : Instrumentation Location: Buckingham Salary: A GBP 32,000 : A GBP 35,000 per annum (Depending on experience) Our clients are the leading UK supplier of flow meters, flow, pressure, level and temperature measurement sensors, fuel transfer pumps, environmental, water quality sensors and ground water monitoring products. An internal sales support person is required to join a distributor of industrial and environmental sensors and Instrumentation. This vacancy is open to candidates with some form of relevant experience or technical Qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental) who are articulate and motivated with a desire to pursue a rewarding career. The Role You will play a direct role in the development of the company providing you with long term career prospects and an opportunity to progress your career. You will need to be technically and independent minded. This will allow you to discuss customers business requirements and relate this to product offerings to provide the best solution. You will be part of a small, close sales team where everyones contribution is key providing solutions to some of the biggest companies worldwide and you will gain a good understanding of the companys products and the many industries they work in. You will be responsible for: Accepting and processing general orders Making technical recommendations to meet customers requirements Discussing technical issues with customers Advising on the configuration of their products Within this role you will: Deal with small through to major enquiries and prepare quotations and detailed contract proposals Follow up enquiries by phone and e: mail Attend exhibitions and trade shows where necessary Offer technical support by phone/e: mail where required, to support products in the field Become familiar with their sensors, measurement instrumentation and software packages Skills and Experience Instrumentation industry experience (Flow Meters,.
