We partner with global industry leaders to design, engineer, and build production machinery that creates world famous food and consumer products, and we'd love for you to join us!Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities: Engineering Layout Drawing (ELD) generation based on design parameters from the Project Engineer. Create sheet metal parts for fabrication on laser and press brake, tube and pipe components and weldments, and complete mechanical assemblies. Design stainless steel food processing systems in Autodesk Inventor 3D. Create drawings of Inventor models and assemblies after ELD approval for release to manufacturing. Production planning, including: Mechanical release from engineering to manufacturing Coordinate purchasing of special or custom materials Plotting all drawings. Qualifications: BSME or Associates degree in Drafting & Design AutoCAD Inventor 3D design software required. Experience with sheet metal and structural steel preferred. Experience with SAP preferred.
