Manufacturing Stores Warehouse Personnel Job Type: Full Time Location: Birmingham Salary: Competitive Our client Have an exciting opportunity for Manufacturing Stores/Warehouse Personnel who will report directly to the Stores Team Leader. The role will be based at their assembly and test facility here in Birmingham UK where they design, manufacture, and repair a range of products and services for defence and industrial markets including ATEX Lighting, Electrical Distribution, Instrumentation and Control solutions. The Role Reporting to the Stores Team Leader and as part of the stores team, you will be responsible for all aspects of stores work. The ideal candidates would have some warehouse operational experience, be comfortable with physical work, be a team player and be confident at using I. T. systems. Key Responsibilities Taking delivery of goods and ensuring the booking in, putting away and labelling of stock is accurate, correct and done in a timely manner. Picking products according to BOM for production as required to meet build plan adherence and to meet customer OTIF delivery. Ordering and picking of raw material, allocating to BOM and delivering to machine operators for production of machined parts. Communicating information regarding damages and stock discrepancies to Management so that appropriate action can be taken. Maintaining accurate paperwork to drive stock accuracy. To work as part of a team, support colleagues and be collaborative in working practices. Creating purchase orders for outwork Stocktaking Ensuring full traceability kept throughout for all stocks.
