Confidently engaging with customers and team members. Driving sales performance through our training. Understanding customer's needs and giving advice and inspiration for customer’s requirements. Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers. Generating new trade leads. Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance. Resolving customer queries in a professional manner. You will need to have a smart appearance as this is a customer facing role. Manual lifting will be involved. You must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays. Requirements for the Retail/Trade Sales Assistant Previous experience in a retail sales role or environment is preferable but not essential as training will be provided. Friendly, helpful and confident with an engaging personality. You will be comfortable with dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner.
