This is a great opportunity for someone with water treatment experience to work on a brand new contract for South Western Water with amazing career progression paths. Role Overview: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, providing essential support across a diverse range of projects. Your responsibilities will encompass project governance, supply chain relationships, client interactions, and ensuring adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: x25CF; Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards throughout project execution x25CF; Work alongside the Project Manager to establish and maintain robust health and safety management arrangements x25CF; Administer the Project Management Plan, with a strong focus on incorporating quality assurance measures x25CF; Collaborate with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to manage supply chain notifications and project costs effectively x25CF; Contribute to the management of internal design costs in coordination with relevant stakeholders x25CF; Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for meeting programme obligations x25CF; Identify and escalate key project issues and risks, proposing actionable mitigation plans x25CF; Assist the Site Manager in lookahead planning and supply chain progress reporting x25CF; Represent the Project Manager in client meetings, providing comprehensive reports on issues and actions About you: x25CF; Education to HND/HNC level, along with vocational professional/management qualifications or equivalent experience x25CF; Thorough understanding.
