The Division of Child and Family Mental Health and Community Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty psychologist. The psychologist will: provide psychological evaluation and short-term treatment for children and adolescents. work with a growing team focused on enhancing access to a range of services provided to children and families. will be responsible for direct clinical care and teaching and mentoring psychology externs and interns, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows. have a faculty appointment with rank commensurate with the applicants experience. Qualifications : Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or related field from an APA-accredited doctoral program. Applicants must be licensed to practice in NC (or be license eligible). Preference will be given to candidates with a solid foundation in general clinical skills in evaluating children with a range of complex medical conditions, including but not limited to Concussion/TBI, Hem-Onc, Bone Marrow transplant, and Seizure Disorders.
