We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Claims Manager. As a Claims Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the intake and processing of insurance claims for personal, property, or other losses, including WCB claims, disability claims, and motor vehicle claims. Reporting to the Vice President of Health Safety and Training, with a dotted line to the SVP Risk Management, you will also ensure efficient claim administration, maintain effective communications with various stakeholders, and collaborate with internal and external parties to facilitate timely resolution and return-to-work programs. What You Bring: Minimum high school graduation or GED Certification in disability management is preferred High attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and oral communication skills), including superior written literacy and presentation skills Strong with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power Point/Access/Teams) High level of emotional intelligence to deal with all levels of personnel Knowledge of union and non-union environments Well-developed organizational planning and problem-solving skills Knowledge of Compensation Boards and Occupational Health & Safety standards as may be applicable across responsible provinces in Canada.
