Represented in all major reinsurance markets through a network of 38 offices, supported by over 2,000 employees worldwide, we have earned superior financial strength ratings from each of the major rating agencies.Senior SAP Technical Lead, General Reinsurance Corporation, Stamford, CT Role Description * Ensures availability, reliability, and responsiveness of the global SAP environment, specially focused but not limited to non-ABAP environment, which includes SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP IdM, and majority of the SAP NW JAVA Stacks (PI/PO, NWDI, BPA/CPS and related environment). * Collaborates with various technical teams in championing and implementing proactive monitoring tools both at the SAP Application layer and at the Azure Cloud Infrastructure layer. * Collaborates with SAP Functional and Technical teams to assess the impact and estimate the work packages for any new initiatives, specially focused but not limited to ERP 6.0, GTS, BPA jobs, BODS dataflows, and PI/PO integrations. * Perform technical analysis and coordinate with Solution Manager team for seamless CTS+ integration of non-ABAP systems like SAP BPA, BODS and enabling key SolMan Modules like End User Monitoring, Scope & Effort Analyzer (SEA), and ABAP Test Cockpit. Proactively review EWA reports and recommend any security and performance optimization avenues for the SAP environment. * Identify avenues and propose technical integration solutions between SAP Solution Manager and SNOW for Incident Management and Change Management. * Promote and leverage SAP Solution Manager Monitoring capabilities by integrating PI/PO message monitoring, BPA & BODS Job monitoring and Azure Cloud Monitoring Extensions for SAP. Monitor and perform daily system health checks using SAP tools like HANA Cockpit, HANA Studio, Sybase Cockpit, and SolMan System Monitoring. * Collaborate effectively with other team members in troubleshooting and diagnose issues in areas like Basis System Administration, initial configuration/setup, system refresh, technical upgrades, and enhancements. * Proactively coordinate with Infrastructure teams to identify potential gaps and provide technical recommendations where appropriate to improve overall throughput for SAP workloads in Azure Hypervisors. * Active participation in Disaster Recovery tests and architectural discussions to support new requirements for SAP environment. * Work with various vendors and project teams to reduce technical debt and support the delivery of long-term initiatives. * Work efficiently with both onshore/offshore support models.100% telecommuting permitted.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $148,500 per year.Role Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 10 years of experience in the following: * SAP Basis Administration and performance tuning; * SAP Technical Design and Architecture for High Availability and Disaster Recovery; * Sybase Administration; and * Unix Administration.Of the required experience, must have 7 years of experience in HANA Administration.Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in the following: * S/4 HANA Migration and Upgrade; and * NetWeaver Business Client and Web Dispatcher Upgrade and maintenance.Certification: * SAP Certified Technology Specialist - SAP S/4HANA Conversion and SAP System Upgrade; * SAP Certified Support Associate - SAP HANA 1.0; and * SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 EhP2.Email CV to XXXX@genre.com with Job Code #473 in the subject line.Our AddressGeneral Reinsurance Corporation120 Long Ridge RoadStamford, CT 06902 (US) At General Re Corporation, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
