The role maximizes the impact of the talent management across Novartis by leading the US Early Career Team and by building from the global early career framework and practices to create a sustainable pipeline of early in career talent who fuel Novartis US long-term growth.Your Key Responsibilities:Strategic Positioning and University Relations Prioritization:*Lead and manage the US Early Career Team to deliver on priorities and to design early career interventions aligned with our US business priorities*Articulate long-term, future focused early career needs based on strategic workforce planning data on skill needs, external benchmarks, vet initial findings with business leaders *Understand the landscape of the US university relations, identify common skill needs based on data, and design and execute an approach to elevate few institutions of high, international relevance to become strategic partnersSimplification and few Signature Programs:*Build and execute few, yet impactful early career interventions, as signature programs in close collaboration with the Global Head Early Career and the US P&O LT *Define, align and execute on success measurement for success, e.g., conversion, career progression, impact ratings, conversion of early career programs; DEI; and cost of workforce composition with the global key early career metrics*Unleash and drive the execution of local early career and university relations within the overarching strategy within the prioritized skill areas and key markets, especially in Talent AcquisitionEEO Statement The Novartis Group of Companies are Equal Opportunity Employers and take pride in maintaining a diverse environment. Role RequirementsEssential Requirements:*Degree from an accredited university in business administration, human resources, marketing, strategy. Ideally a MSc in Organizational Psychology*Minimum of 10 years' experience in Talent Management and Talent Acquisition DEI HR or similar function. *Fluent English *Minimum of 5 years leading and executing US Early Career interventions in a global matrix organization*Deep knowledge and demonstrated track record in developing and implementing successful early career strategies and interventions at scale, gained across industries *Proven ability to navigate in a matrix environment and lead others without formal authority *Strong proficiency in data management and tracking, and insights Desirable Requirements:*Experience in leading internship, university recruitment and early career programs; previous experience within a large complex global company *Track record in delivering early career initiatives that meet DEI commitments Why Novartis: Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
