Randstad are currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Leeds area who are seeking additional tutoring support for their pupils. You will deliver face to face sessions, working towards building childrens confidence and subject knowledge. We are keen to hear from inspiring QTS, NQTs, Teaching Assistants with Level 1:3 qualifications, HLTA certification or graduates who are considering a career within education. Ideally you will have your DBS on the update service, or are willing to acquire one. We are looking for tutors in the Leeds area. Subjects include: Maths, English, Science, History and Geography Being a Randstad Tutor offers you: Flexibility to manage your own timetable and workload The choice to deliver online or face to face tuition Free e: learning training modules Opportunity for school holiday tuition delivery Access to an online tuition delivery platform The opportunity to make a real difference to pupils outcomes. Pay scale: GBP20.00 : GBP25.00 P. A. Y. E Key responsibilities: Working with small group cohorts from 1:1 : 1:6 Creating lesson plans tailored to the students learning style backssing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system Deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning styles Drive measurable outcomes from each session to measure impact Work collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support. Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines. Desired experience: Experienced in tutoring one to one or small groups of pupils who require additional educational or pastoral support Experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions Experience in working with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children Responsibilities: Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and build a curriculum,.
