The Train Electrical Engineer is responsible for delivering electrical engineer solution within agreed timeline and budget to support business and broad company objectives. In this role you will be accountable for delivering the electrical schematic and the electrical engineering deliverables for overhaul projects. You define the workload and scope for electrical engineering deliverables and contribute to the development of the engineering and manufacturing planning. You provide carry-over analysis on electrical products, by defining what material will be retained and material that will need to be removed as part of the overhaul project. You define the system functional, and electrical requirements in line with the train architecture and customer requirements. You also work in compliance with engineering processes and regulatory standards. You also perform a complete system reliability, maintainability, and safety analysis to ensure a fully integrated, safe & compliant system design. You liaise with other engineers and experts to ensure compliance with the appropriate Industry Standards. You support the Train System Engineer with design optimizations and risk mitigations. You are able to read and analyze electrical schematic. Use design tools like Zuken E3 or Auto CAD electrical to review electrical schematic development.
