R-00133295 Description Leidos Dynetics Group is seeking a talented -Electrical Engineer -candidate to join a multidisciplinary team to create unique solutions to complex engineering challenges in our Huntsville, AL location. - We have offices across the United States that provide responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields. - The ideal candidate will thrive in a learning environment that encourages leadership and technical growthPrimary Responsibilities As an essential part of our dynamic team developing advanced electrical system designsYou will analyze, design, and integrate solutions that will successfully address a wide variety of customer challengesInitial responsibilities will include: ---- Development of Interface Control Documents. ---- Development of National Instruments PXI based hardware specifications and drawings.--- Development of a signal conversion cabinet.--- Identify hardware modifications to existing power electronic component that improve modeled system performance characteristicsResponsibilities will expandchange over time as the employee demonstrates their abilities and expresses interest in new types of workBasic Qualifications--- Candidate must possess a -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution with 4+ years of experience or 2+ years with MS degree.--- Experience in reviewing and developing documentation such as: Specifications, Interface Control Documents,--- Design Documents, Connection Diagrams, and Circuit Diagrams. ---- Must have proven experience in hardware design and test from architecture through implementation--- Must have proven understanding of fundamental circuits and circuit components.--- Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.--- Demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.--- Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently--- Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.--- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL areaPreferred Qualifications--- Preference shown to candidates willing to travel to Tullahoma, Tennessee as needed.--- Preference shown to candidates who possess a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university--- Preference shown to candidates who already hold a SECRET clearance.--- Experience in designing and fabricating power electronic hardware.--- Preference shown to candidates with embedded controls experience.--- Preference shown to candidates who have experience in trade studies and development of white papers.--- Preference shown to candidates with DoD experienceOriginal Posting Date: 2024-04-10 While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed abovePay Range: Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only -and not a guarantee of compensation or salaryAdditional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
