Job Title: Technology Specialist Pay Grade: 4 Reports to: Technology Director Date Posted: 2/1/2018 Dept./Campus: Technology Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in technology related field and/or experience in technology related field Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft System Center and Google Workspace Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, ChromeOS, iOS Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Ability to analyze and resolve computer hardware and software problems Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: Prior experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties: Provide technical assistance to district faculty and staff for use of equipment including computer hardware and software Deploy software Image computers Manage network printers and copiers Physically move and check-out device inventory Perform hardware troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems Assist in developing long-term strategies and planning for future computer hardware needs Maintain technology work orders
