We operate as a single source of specialization in everything from floor underlayment, finished flooring, insulation, and more which allows us to streamline project success for multifamily and commercial construction jobs. Primary Objective The Diesel Mechanic will oversee all shop activities and a business partner to the operations team to ensure that the maintenance of all company equipment is being completed in a safe and timely manner. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance on diesel trucks and hydraulic machinery. Oversee fleet compliance by ensuring daily inspections of all company vehicles that are governed under the Federal and State regulatory agencies (Federal Motor Carrier, CHP). Track and control parts inventories, vendors and suppliers. Properly prioritize, implement and manage work schedules, projects and assignments. Key Requirements High School Diploma and/or GED Diesel Mechanic Certification Must have at least 3+ years relevant experience managing the maintenance of heavy equipment and trucks. Experience working with vehicles (gasoline and diesel) Class A CDL is a plus. Experience working on construction equipment a plus. ASE or manufacture's certifications a plus. MS Office skills. Customer service attributes. Exposure to electrical hazards, chemicals, standing on concrete, and uneven or slippery surfaces occasionally. Works inside & outside within all elements. Able to travel to job sites as needed for emergency repairs. What’s In It For Me?
