CDL B Hazmat Driver - Local Home Daily CDL Route Driver - Springfield, IL - Hazmat Required Job Summary: Operates a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes. Collects empty cylinders from customers. Records transactions and obtains signatures. Addresses customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction. Handles loading/unloading. Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance. Presents a professional appearance and upkeeps the vehicle's condition. DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required. One year of experience driving similar commercial vehicles within the last five years or completion of an accredited truck driving school program. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse individuals. Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
